Overview

WJ Weiser and Associates, Inc. is a fast-growing, well-established, full-service association management company currently providing comprehensive service management for over 40 medical specialty and sub-specialty societies. We're currently seeking a part-time Office Assistant to join our team in Schaumburg, IL to assist with preparing meeting materials and general administrative projects. This is a great opportunity for stay-at-home moms or dads looking to work during school hours.

 

The position is expected to work about 10-15 hours/week during slow periods (summer) and 20-25 hours/week during busier times (spring and fall) and pays $11.50/hour.

Responsibilities

  • Mailings/labels
  • Coordinating Meeting Supplies and Attendee packets (i.e. materials, badges, other communications) and packing boxes
  • Making copies and facilitating in-house printing jobs
  • Organizing supplies (ordering, unpacking, stocking) and keeping stock/file room in order
  • Ordering gifts, bags, merchandise
  • Create FedEx Labels/keep records of tracking info
  • Unpacking after meetings/distributing documents to office staff
  • Shopping for in house meetings (i.e. Costco runs)
  • General office administrative tasks (i.e. filing both electronic and manual)  

Qualifications

  • 3+ years office experience
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
